Twilight - a sort of book review

I bought this book from the teen section because I'd heard despite it being young adult, it was so amazing that adults everywhere were reading it - and since I haven't heard that since Harry Potter, and I love Harry Potter, I was willing to check it out.

I am now obsessed. I couldn't put it down until it was done (that's the problem with a young adult book, I got through it far too quickly) and I was so enamored with the characters that I can't stop thinking about them. (Vicky called me while I was reading and it took me almost 5 minutes to come out of the reverie of reading the book to have a coherent conversation with her, and I don't think that's ever happened to me before).

Now I'm watching the trailor to the movie that is coming out this Fall repeatedly and reading the author's web site and refusing to let myself buy the next book in the series because I'm just too busy right now. Now I just have to stop myself from reading the whole book over again!

I recommend it, but, have a lot of time ready just in case you get as obsessed as me ;)

Welcome to the Twilight club ;) Last summer when my little guy was an infant there was a lot of hoopla online about Twilight. It took me a little while, but eventually I got a copy from the library. Stephenie Meyer did an amazing job writing this story and building the characters. She made a believer out of me. I am waiting to get Breaking Dawn to read from my friend this weekend. In addition to this she also has The Host which is supposed to be fabulous. I started reading it and then things got too busy and I had to return it.

Happy reading!

Should I get this book for my birthday? Jason said he hasn't got anything planned to get me as a present, so I can choose my own. Except, there's nothing I can think of that I need or want right now - I got some early birthday $$$ and bought new clothes, and my mom got me all sorts of stuff I wanted from etsy.

I'm next in line to read it! I'm a bit worried though because I had a similar reaction when I read Outlander.

DOOD. I JUST got sucked in, and have read straight through to Eclipse, which I am now in the middle of.

Am PARALYZED with anxiety that edward and Bella won't end up together in the end.

I couldn't help myself, I'm rereading it. And I think I'm going to go and buy the next books today. The good thing about books you like this much are that you can read them again though :)

LARA! Welcome to the obsession - I can't believe i hadn't mentioned this series to you before! The most recent pics I have on facebook were from our midnight release for the 4th book Breaking Dawn and I'll invite you to an event we have going for the movie release, because the "Host" of the event is really great at posting articles and such! I'm so glad you love them too!! =D=D
