Tales from the scales
The saga continues with regards to my scale. I have discovered that it seems to be about 6 lbs off.... in a generous way :P But that's ok, the 6 lbs that I seemingly lost last week has consistently stayed off which is still 6 lbs, even if in theory I weigh the same as I thought I did the first week. (confusing much?)
But this week I saw no loss. I think I let my water drinking and meal planning drop a notch, so I need to get that back up. I did do a lot of things right though so I'm not losing hope that some of my effort will show up next week. I didn't snack as much, I chose healthier options several times - even if they weren't the healthiest options, they were better than what I would have done before, and what I actually wanted.
I could be more motivated, but I find it really challenging to stay motivated when I'm not happy with a lot of the other areas and my life, because the reason I'm fat in the first place, is because I eat to make me feel better. ;) I'll try to be strong and persevere!

Emotional eating can be such a health-killer! Maintaining is better than gaining! ;-) Here's to a better week this week. Keep making healthy choices.

I'm a stress eater. I really have to fight it.
The nice thing about reporting each week, is if you need to kick things up a notch you can. Reflection is good. Keep going, think ahead of what you want.
I tell myself it's only food. then I usually eat it.
(Not very supportive, ha?)
It's hard to stay away from the bad stuff, but it's so good when it all comes together. Take care, see you next week.

I totally feel you on the emotional eating. I'm currently writing a blog post...more like novel about the same thing. You could always go for the bigger evil like I did and pick up smoking. HA! Way to make good choices though! Each choice may seem inconsequential, but it will add up!

One should be cautious while eating. Counting the number of calories that we are consuming. Eating only the required number of calories necessary for our body. The more we eat, the more our body stores energy. We should try to burn the calories that we intake.
